11 bit studios, based in Warsaw, Poland, is a multiplatform game development studio selling games worldwide. In 2010 we started with Anomaly Series, a highly acclaimed tower offense games, which received Apple Design Award and a number of other titles. The next big thing was This War of Mine, released in 2014 after two years of hard work. The cost of development were covered in first weekend after the premiere, and since then the game keeps being one of the topsellers on Steam and other distribution platforms.
The games developed by 11 bit studios received a great esteem from both, players and worldwide gaming media, which resulted in number of awards, including: Best of PAX, Independent Games Festival Audience Award and SXSW Matthew Crump Cultural Innovation Award, Games4Change Best Gameplay & People’s Choice Award at G4C.

THE CORE CREW MEMBERS
Grzegorz Miechowski – company CEO, a graduate of the Wroclaw University of Technology. Game developer since early 90s, when he created one of the first development studios in Poland. Over the last dozen years he’s worked successfully as a team leader and the CEO of various game development companies. One of the founding fathers of 11 bit studios and author of the "This War of Mine" original concept. Apart from gaming, his hobby is playing the electric guitar. Favorite book: Aldous Huxley's "Brand New World".
Bartosz Brzostek – technology director, a graduate of the University of Warsaw. The creator of 11 bit's Liquid Engine and lead programmer of all games and development tools made by 11 bit, including the latest bestseller “This War of Mine”. His extensive programming knowledge covers various gaming platforms, especially computers, consoles and mobile devices. Favorite game: avoiding speeding tickets.
Przemysław Marszał – art director, a graduate of the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw. He took his first steps in the game business as a graphic artist, and thanks to number of great works soon became an art director. As the head of art he is responsible for the final look of all 11 bit studios games, from scratch till the day of premiere. He is the author of the “charcoal style” of This War of Mine, which was one of the most significant elements of this title. His hobby is collecting gaming consoles, including "ancient" ones. He's actually addicted to gaming. Favorite game: Vib Ribbon.
Michał Drozdowski – design director, a graduate of the Higher University of Commerce and Law in Warsaw. Working in the industry for more than 15 years. Michal was in charge of the creative design for all major titles created by 11 bit studios, including Anomaly Series, Funky Smugglers and This War of Mine. Picked as one of the Polygon's 50 admirable gaming people of 2014. Favorite game: Bad Company.
